This little sweetie pie was 9 lbs of ADORABLENESS!!!! He was 2 weeks late and in absolutely no rush to come earth side. That is, until mom gave her eviction notice. Hee hee. However, despite the fact that he wanted to bake a little longer, he was a dream to photograph. All that squish and cuteness made it so easy to capture him in my Abbotsford studio. He LOVED being wrapped, (as most babies do), and slept his session away. Except there was one period of time he was very alert and just wanted to check things out. And of course I took advantage of that and ensured I got some amazing eye contact.
I go way back with this little guy’s mama. In fact, I used to baby sit her when she was just a kid. (Whoa, I may be dating myself here. 😉 So, I love it when everything comes full circle and now I see her flourishing as a mom of two boys. What fun! I photographed her first maternity portraits many years ago, then her first son’s newborn portraits. So this was my 3rd time photographing this amazing family! It is such an honour when clients return to me over and over to capture their milestones. I love building relationships and creating beautiful art for people’s homes.
I loved this little sweetie pie’s session so much I have his portraits displayed in my studio. Because I just can’t get enough of those cheeks!
