This was our 4th time photographing this beautiful family full of mama love! There is something remarkable about watching other people’s lives flourish and grow over the years of knowing each other. They are my friends, clients and confidantes. I’ve watched in awe as they’ve journeyed into parenthood, and loved their Baby Bean in ways that warm your heart. These women are my friends and I get so excited every time they ask for another photoshoot. Not to mention their images are STUNNING in large print, and I am proud to say many of their portraits are displayed in my studio and at Whatcom Medical Center. I mean, how could I not?!?!? Just look at them!!!!
From couple-hood, to maternity to newborn and now family, I feel that photographing milestones is such an amazing honour. And honestly, my heart is about ready to explode every time I look at these photos. The backdrop was beautiful, the subjects were beautiful and luckily, the weather was beautiful!!! We were amazed we didn’t get rained out because we had to reschedule already due to a rain storm!
We met at the Mission bridge (Matsqui Trail Regional Park) and Little Bean was so serious for the first part of the shoot, only because she had just woken up from a nap. If it were me, I would certainly be grouchy if I woke up and had a lens pointed at my face! But after she warmed up a bit, she was all giggles. Well, it’s hard not to giggle when you have the most hilarious mamas! We had such a great time at this photo session and I can’t wait to do it again for their next family portraits.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! Much Love and Light all around!!!! Love always wins!
